Intex has come out with a new mobile phone that can convert 2D images and videos to 3D with the touch of a button. Called as the Intex AVATAR, the 3D touch phone ships with a pair of 3D glasses and lets users store and view "unlimited videos at the rate of 30 frames per second". The phone also packs in a 4 GB card bearing 10 films. The dual-SIM GSM device is equipped with a 2.8" screen and preloaded games.

While the press release doesn't specifiy the OS, the AVATAR 3D looks like a JAVA phone. Other bells and whistles include FM recording, auto call record, 2 MP camera with flash, hand writing input, Bluetooth connectivity, and dual language support (Hindi and English). The Intex AVATAR 3D is priced at Rs 3700.
