View Reviews

The KTM 990 Supermoto is an angry looking 'supermotard bike' with a sharp and intense appearance. It is an easy to ride machine promising a good comfort level, even if your ride is a little longer, and has a great motor sound.

KTM has engineered this unique model, the KTM 990 Adventure to be ridden hard in diverse conditions, from streets to pavements and from outskirts to deserts; you can make your own road on this bike.

Offering a relatively higher but stable riding position it also enables better visibility. Finger touch handlebars offer you an easy maneuvering. All in all, the overall handling of this bike is well-controlled, quick and stress free. The KTM 990 Supermoto is a wonderful bike and it is not easy to find flaws with this machine.

Built on a powder coated tubular chromium molybdenum trellis frame that weighs only 11 kgs, this bike sure feels light. It is equipped with an awfully condensed LC8 engine weighing only 58 kgs, it makes way as one of the lightest bikes in the 1000cc segment. The KTM 990 Supermoto has an exhaust system made of twin premium steel with catalytic converter. The chassis of this machine is extremely convincing on any surface, be it terrains or streets.

With 0.5968 hp/kg power to weight ratio and the 64.6 degrees steering angle, it qualifies as a bike with strong performance and a sporty temperament as well. It takes you up to a maximum speed of 226 km/h approximately.

Diligently carrying features of an off-road two-wheeler and a road racing bike, this machine has an all rounder attitude and is by all means the winner material. Scheduled for a release on the Indian roads in 2011, this bike will be made available to you at an estimated price of Rs. 14 lacs and will come in 2 colors: orange and black.
